skin
quiet,
waiting for
resurrection
Day,
silently sleeping
dormant;
Rest, oh
Dinosaur, ancient
and new,
dappled shadows
tattooing agèd
limbs
shadows of
leaves
mutely
caressing
scattered
beauty
